Rev. Jim Larkin, M.Div., teaches in the Interfaith Studies Certificate Program at the Chaplaincy Institute (ChI).  Jim served as Associate Pastor at the American Church in London, where he was co-teacher of the Spiritual Psychology classes with his partner Megan Wagner.  While in London, Jim was introduced to “Men’s Work” with such teachers as Robert Bly, Michael Meade and Malidoma Somé.  During that time, he also found the Kabbalah, which he now considers his spiritual home. Jim finds great joy in creating and leading worshipful ceremony and ritual to help individuals connect with their own Divine nature and with The Divine with the goal of personal growth and spiritual development. In his ChI course, “Public Speaking,” Jim’s desire for his students is for them to develop the tools to communicate effectively and confidently all that Spirit is leading them to say in whatever context Spirit is calling them to speak.  Co-Director of Tree of Life Teachings International with Megan Wagner, Jim received his M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA) in 1988 and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by ChI in 2005.
