Overview of Youth Ministry

Serving the spiritual needs of young people can be done in a number of ways and through a variety of channels. If you are interested in developing your potential for interfaith spiritual leadership and creative service to the young people in your community as a youth minister, The Chaplaincy Institute can help you explore ways to do this.

Youth ministries that are not affiliated with religious institutions are usually connected to organizations or establishments within a community such as a school, homeless shelter or social services program.

Those interested in youth ministry may also want to connect with the Interfaith Youth Core, a non-profit organization that works with over 200 college campuses to promote interfaith cooperation.
