Welcome to our Admissions Overview
We are glad you are considering the Chaplaincy Institute for your interfaith education. Through our rolling admissions policy, students may enter at any time throughout the year. Each seminary program has its own specific course requirements, admission policies, application, and fees.
We invite you to get to know us by exploring our website, attending an open house or scheduling a chat. We are happy to assist you in discerning your educational path and making it happen in a way that is uniquely relevant, flexible, and affordable for you.
Admissions Policy for Chaplaincy Programs and Spiritual Direction Program
Application and enrollment
1. Application
A written application, transcript, professional resume or CV, and letters of recommendation are required.
2. Admissions Interviews
Once reviewed, we will be in contact with you to schedule a one-on-one interview via Zoom.
3. Application Deadline
Applications are welcome any time. We review applications in the order we receive them, and within 2 weeks of receiving them.
4. Enrollment
Once accepted, our Dean of Students and enrollment team will support you with everything you need to get started.
Prerequisite: a Bachelor’s degree is required.
We recognize that many people have engaged in life and learning experiences in a variety of contexts that can develop knowledge and abilities that equal a Bachelor degree. Applicants without a Bachelor’s degree may apply for an education equivalency/life experience waiver of this requirement, by completing a Bachelor Degree Prerequisite Waiver Request.
