Lia Nagase (she/ella) offers online spiritual companioning/direction, death support via text, & community, ritual, and other spiritual offerings through her organization 170 Trees (www.170trees.org)Rev. Lia is the founder of 170 Trees and chose to be ordained by ChI as an Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Innovator, and Builder of Beloved Community. She received her certificate for Interspiritual Companioning and Counseling through One Spirit Learning Alliance and a Certificate in Thanatology through The Art of Dying Institute at One Spirit.She is a parent, partner, friend, singer, and a hopeful, grounded, loving person. She values authenticity, love, compassion, and dedication to working on our own stuff to improve our lives and communities. As a mixed race woman of color and parent to queer and trans kids, she is dedicated in her work toward liberation for all. She lives in Costa Rica with her family and other animals.
