Text
Over the past three years, I have not been engaged in formal ministry following the loss of my hospice chaplaincy position. During this time, I served as a behavioral health case manager, supporting individuals through crisis and recovery while navigating my own season of transition, including the separation of my family and the sale of our home. These years have been deeply humbling and largely inward—marked by wrestling with loss, rebuilding faith, and rediscovering the meaning of forgiveness. Though my ministry has been quiet, it has been sincere. I am now envisioning new forms of service through Humboldt Animal Hospice and PRISM (Practical Resources and Interfaith Street Ministry), blending spiritual care with practical compassion. I seek to renew my standing not as a return to what was, but as a continuation of grace through lived experience.
