The 2018 CHI UNITE-A-THON
June 8, 2018 - June 9, 2018
Can you hear it?
All around us are echoes of a sacred invitation.
In the chaos, in the unrest, in the shifting climate, and in our own hearts.
Can we come together with all our human diversity and experience a shared sacred connection? We believe we can! When we remember our connection, to each other and to the planet, we experience healing and transformation. This invitation to connect, to unite, is the reason we gather June 9. We gather with intention…not to become the same, but to remember we are one.
We gather to share our spiritual practices and witness each other. To practice compassion and respect in a way that will unite us, and ripple out to the rest of the world. We gather to unite in our mission: to create a just world that honors the sacred connection of all. If that’s your desire, if you hear that call…
Unite-A-Thon will be broadcast live from The Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, CA. We will unite in celebration of our diversity and to open our hearts fully to a greater awareness of our sacred connection. We’re inviting over 2,000 friends to join the CHI Interfaith Community in this event, and invite you to share through your social media channels.
Together as one sacred community, we will unite with the help of modern technology, to set an intention of healing and transforming this world. Bring your friends to pray, meditate, dance, and activate your inner calling to help create a just world that honors the sacred connection of all!
You’ve probably run across read-a-thons and walk-a-thons before, and this is similar, except instead of reading or walking, CHI community members are going to be sharing interfaith spiritual practices on that day. And leading up to June 9, we’re inviting our friends and families to help raise money for CHI ‘s mission, while also raising awareness about the interfaith movement.
You can watch to the live broadcast by going to CHI Facebook Page and add it to your calendar now.
