Welcome to The Chaplaincy Institute’s first in-person Learning Retreat May 1 - 5 at the Villa Maria del mar retreat center in Santa Cruz, California.  The retreat center sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with easy access to a beautiful beach below.

Please review our FAQ sheet before completing your registration.

Here are a few details that we recommend you gather prior to beginning the registration process: what airport you plan to fly into if you are flying, who you plan to carpool with if applicable, and whether you
or not you will be driving in. Payment is due at the time of registration.

**For those who choose the third daily commuter option (M-W), you can attend lunch and dinner on Monday, have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday, and breakfast on Thursday. There will be alumni sessions on Monday and Wednesday, and total attendee sessions on Tuesday.

Covid Protocols

The Chaplaincy Institute (ChI) takes the safety and well-being of its students, staff, and larger community seriously. In order to attend the event, and by signing this form, I agree that: I will be fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19), and up to date on all boosters.* I Agree not to attend if I test positive or am experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness. I will take a PCR test so that I have the results 24 - 48 hours before the event. I will take a rapid antigen test the morning after I arrive, and each day onsite. I will wear a mask in common areas, and also in any session where someone else requests that everyone mask. I will hold harmless The Chaplaincy Institute (“ChI”) and its staff and volunteers and release these parties from any liability resulting from illness during my attendance at this event, including travel to and from. I will consider purchasing travel insurance that includes COVID coverage in case I cannot attend and am ineligible for a refund. * medical exemptions may be granted.
